Support — Interval Timer

Last updated: 21 August 2026

Something not working, or an idea for the app? Email support@midamultimedia.com. A real person reads it.

It helps to include your device, your OS version, and what you were doing when it went wrong. If a workout misbehaved, the work/rest/round numbers you had set are usually enough to reproduce it.

Common questions

Does the timer keep running when the screen is off?
Yes. It keeps cueing with the screen locked or while you are in another app. Leave "Run in background" on in Settings.
I can't hear the cues over my music.
The cues duck your music rather than stopping it, so they play over the top. Check that Mute is off in Settings and that the in-app Volume slider is up — it is separate from your device volume.
How do I pause?
Hold anywhere on the running screen. Tap to resume.
What is Word mode?
It spells the count out — "thirty-two" instead of 32 — for intervals of 60 seconds or less, in your choice of language. Turn it off in Settings if you prefer digits.
How do I build my own sequence?
Add intervals on the home screen, then drag to reorder and tap to edit. Save it as a preset to keep it. Ladder, Pyramid, Tabata and EMOM 10 are built in.
Does the app collect any of my data?
No. Nothing about your workouts, presets or settings is collected, stored off-device, or transmitted. The only thing that ever goes over the internet is the store — Google Play or the App Store — being asked whether your account owns the unlock. No name, no email and no payment details reach the app. See the privacy policy.
I bought the unlock and it has gone.
It is tied to your store account, not to the install — your Google account on Android, your Apple Account on iPhone. Reinstall, sign in with the same account, then tap Restore purchase in Settings.
Can I get a refund for the unlock?
The store takes the payment and handles refunds — the developer never sees the transaction and cannot issue one. On Android, request it through your Play Store order history or at Google's refund page. On iPhone, at reportaproblem.apple.com. Email support if the store turns you down and you think it was wrong.
