Privacy Policy — Interval Timer

Last updated: 21 August 2026

Interval Timer is an interval workout timer published by MidaMultiMedia LLC. This policy covers Interval Timer wherever it is published: the Android and Wear OS apps, and the iPhone app once it is released.

Interval Timer does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. There is no account, no sign-in, and no analytics. The network permissions the app holds are the ones the store's billing library requires in order to sell the one-time unlock, and the only thing that ever crosses the internet is the store being asked whether you have bought it — see Purchases below.

What is stored, and where

Everything the app remembers is stored only on your own device, in the app's private storage:

None of this leaves your device except in the one case described below. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it. There is no cloud backup and no copy held by the developer.

Purchases

Interval Timer offers one optional one-time purchase, which adds six extra colour themes and removes the three-sequence save limit. It is not a subscription and there is nothing else to buy.

The purchase is handled entirely by the store you installed the app from — Google Play Billing on Android, the App Store on iPhone. The app never sees or stores your name, your email address, or any payment details. The store handles the transaction and tells the app one thing: whether the account you are signed in with owns the unlock. That check happens when the app starts and when you tap Restore purchase, and it is the only thing the app ever sends over the internet. The store's handling of the payment is covered by its own policy — the Google Privacy Policy or the Apple Privacy Policy.

Nothing about your workouts, presets or settings is sent to Google, to Apple, to the developer, or to anyone else as part of this.

Wear OS watch sync

If you have a paired Wear OS watch and install the Interval Timer watch app, the phone app sends your preset names and their interval durations to your own watch so the same workouts are available there. This uses the Google Play Services Wearable Data Layer, which is the standard Android mechanism for phone-to-watch communication.

This data goes only to your own paired watch. It is not sent to the developer and is not used for any other purpose. The transport itself is provided by Google Play Services and is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. If you do not use a Wear OS watch, nothing is transmitted at all.

Permissions, and why they exist

The app requests no access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, files, health data, or device sensors.

Advertising

Interval Timer currently contains no advertising and no advertising SDKs. If advertising is added in a future version, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the Google Play Data Safety disclosure will be updated to match.

Children

The app collects no data from anyone, including children under 13. It contains no user-generated content, no social features, and no external links.

Changes to this policy

Any change will be published on this page with a new "last updated" date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes on Google Play.
